  1. I was particularly taken by the part of the story that said that a newspaper called a town official in Wasilla to get a copy of the "Rules for the 1984 Miss Wasilla Pageant," presumably to see if she cheated.

  2. I think there was generally just one rule for the 1984 Miss Wasilla Pageant.

  4. There were a couple of French reporters hanging out at the local McDonalds yesterday. So much for haute cuisine and sophisticated diet of the French, eh? I should offer to take them hunting as a good will gesture.
