... is, am, and was George Stephanopoulos replacing David Brinkley at NBC. So, while this is no surprise, it is notaable.

Following Giuliani's speech, Stephanopoulos declared it “far and away
the toughest speech we've seen so far” at both conventions and
ruminated: “What I wonder about is how it came across on television. A little too nasty? A little too ugly? I don't know.”
After Palin finished, he fretted that she “she also spent a lot of
time attacking” and “that could come off as quite negative to some
viewers.”
g
Issuing the Nightline “Report Card,” Stephanopoulos, who a week earlier
awarded Joe Biden and Democrats four A's, gave Giuliani and Palin three
A's, a B and a C. For “Red Meat,” he presented an A “for substance,”
but a C “on delivery” because he contended their repeated mention of how Barack Obama was a “community organizer” came across as “a little too derisive.”

Stephanopoulos is slamming our girl? If I were her, I would consider that to be a great personal compliment.

ReplyDeleteI wish girly boy George would get the fuck outta here. Monica's under the desk and I gotta take a piss, but my pants are down.
Lt. Col. Gen. Tailgunner dick
Palin's 17-year-old daughter...fair game. Barack Obama's past political associations...off limits!
ReplyDeleteTell you what, George--we'll vote for Obama if you can tell us in one sentence what a "community organizer" does.
Wouldn't know. Hit the MUTE button as soon as any talking heads appeared on the screen. Had to watch it on PBS just to avoid selective camera angles and such. Joseph Goebbels would have been proud I'm sure.
