A National Treasure
Ronald Reagan - A Time for Choosing
If Renaldo Maximus gave this speech today, I wonder, would he finish with a clarion call to grab torches, pitchforks, and shotguns, and win the war against our greatest domestic enemy once and for all? I ask in the good, academic way.
Ronald Reagan liked to say, "Trust but verify." But with the incoming administration of Commissar-elect Obama, that should read, "Do not trust, but be goddamn sure to verify."
What I don't get is why doesn't the GOP even try to emulate him? I get the distinct impression that if you were to ask any of the Party leadership, they would say, "Ronald who?" GrinfilledCelt
"...If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to..."
ReplyDeleteI heard Mark Steyn say the same thing on Rush's show on Friday. There is no place left to escape to. We have to fight it here.
If you want more of Mark Steyn, read "America Alone." I just finished it. It is a good read. Or you can go to http://www.steynonline.com/
ReplyDelete"Takes from the needy and gives to the greedy."
ReplyDeleteSounds like he could be talking about the bank and auto bailouts.
One other thing, do you notice how quiet and attentive the audience is?
Ronald Reagan liked to say, "Trust but verify." But with the incoming administration of Commissar-elect Obama, that should read, "Do not trust, but be goddamn sure to verify."
ReplyDeleteI miss Ronnie. We all need to channel are inner Ronnie's and get ready to kick some liberal ass in 2010.
