Tards Away

Today's Keeping it Real

From XM Comedy last night ...
This PC stuff is killing me.  I was censored on Leno.  They told me I couldn't use one of my routines because I used "Retard."  I asked why?  Because it's an offensive word, they answered.  Offensive to whom?  [Ralphie Mays]
*Smacks head*  The accepted alternative, according to the Donna Shalalas of the word, is "Mentally challenged." Egad.

  4. No! No! No! You can't call them liberals anymore, that's offensive to them. Now you have to call them "progressive" (make sure you include the quotation marks otherwise people might get the idea that they are in favor of progress).

  5. Maybe if we started referring to them as "bullet stops" they'd get a clue?

  6. They started calling them retarded because that was consider nicer and more humane than calling them idiots. And now we come full circle. In a few years time it will become offensive to use the term "Mentally Challenged" and then the word 'Challenge' will disappear from our language as retard has largely done.
