A worthwile movie for all ages
Striped Pyjamas
Linda SoG tipped me about the movie "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas."
It's available online in 10 minute segments, which you can access below
(I embedded the first one above). There is one on Google, of very
poor quality, with out-of-sync audio. Don't bother with it. I'll
only say that none will forget it. I was fortunate to find
it offered on STARZ On Demand (cable). Went to sleep thinking about
it.
The ending seems fitting for the camp commander. I know this sounds heartless but, what comes around goes around.I have been haunted by what the nazis did my whole life.Never watched schindler's list. I fear I would go completely mad. ozaoB
The wife and I go to a lot of movies in their first week. We thought this movie one of the best in a long time.
ReplyDeleteReally slams you in the gut.
It did me, even though I sensed what was going to happen.
ReplyDeleteHave never watched it but a big guy in my office said it was the one movie that made him actually cry....
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a tremendous movie. It left me with very conflicting emotions, and my thoughts have come back to it many times since I've seen it.
ReplyDeleteI agree Bill Ray. It was one of the best movies I've seen a long time.

I'd never heard of the movie when I ordered it on PPV a few months back after reading the description.
ReplyDeleteA GREAT MOVIE!
It has been in my "to watch" pile for weeks. I've been too afraid to start watching it.
