Our lady of the perpetually offended

Da meaning of demeaning
Via TigerHawk - English feminists are complaining that this Christmas ad for the Marks & Spencer department store is demeaning to women. ..
.. they have no idea how demeaning things can get.

Who says feminists have no sense of humor? Their ludicrous sense of outrage amuses me.

    Carry on, girls.

  5. Well, it certainly seems to have gotten the AbFab (Jennifer Saunders & Joanna Lumley @10sec mark) & Twiggy seals of approval, so I'd say the feminazis's are being daft on this one.

  6. Aren't they always off the mark - those humorless old broads have led to more misunderstandings and rancor between the sexes than anything before or since! Shame on them! When women are viewing men as the enemy, and vice versa, it does not lead to an harmonious world at all. And it cuts down on the amount of "close order drill" we can all enjoy!

  7. *lol*

Anyway, I don't see what was offensive about the MS commercial. I must not have enough estrogen to appreciate it fully.

The go daddy commercial was a bit dumb, but it does make good fun of the men.

If you really want demeaning towards women, think "burka" and "islam"
