As if we don't have enough to worry about, it says here that Los Illegals con un sentido de derecho  are back, and "ready to fight!"  Pro-immigration groups are more united, better-funded and, unlike the last battle in 2007, are ready to fight back against what they say is a wave of hatred from opponents as they gear up for another bruising immigration fight in Congress. The groups range from businesses and Hispanic rights organizations to labor unions and religious denominations. They lost their fight for immigration reform three years ago after finger-pointing and disagreements between businesses and labor. The groups also blame a Washington-centric strategy while their opponents ran a spectacularly successful grass-roots campaign. ” Conditions are right for a perfect storm.  One big enough to wipe Democrats off the political map.  I can't say it will happen, just that the public anger is palpable, and an election is coming. My sense it that even the most causal voters have in their heads, not the details maybe, but a conglomeration of grievances picked up at the water cooler,  car radio, news headlines, etc. Imagine a  ball of string made from strands  of  of these impressions:  phony baloney global warning bad economy botched war on terror this democrat and that democrat jailed accused of lying ethics complaints Medicare trashed voting against constituent wishes taking bribes arrogant hideous looking scowls secret meetings birth certificates tax increases death panels why the hell ain't we drilling for oil bowing to everyoneChristmas Eve votestax increases health care system destroyed I got laid off but gummint clerks make 6 figures trillions of dollarsillegal immigration freeing al Qaeda terroristsunderwear  bomber won't be able to use light bulbsACORN union thugs indoctrinating children and on and on and on ...  One great mental glob of mad looking for an outlet.  That outlet will arrive the 2nd of November, 2010.
