"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
Good joke Scottibill :] but it would be more like NewsMax expanding actual journalism and turning a failing business into a money making business. And yet that whole "paper-news" world is on the downside in this techno-cyber world.
I don't know...he doesn't seem be be any dumber or more dishonest than the bozos already in the Senate. He's just not as rich, but I'm sure he can fix that with a few months in office. GrinfilledCelt
I believe that Repubs crossover voted in the SC open primary for Democrat "the least likely to succeed", because Repub Jim Demint faced only nominal opposition from a candidate who raised no funds and was pretty much a shoo in. That's how we got McCain. SC Dems crossed over in 2008, put McCain on top, the rest of the Repubs folded, and lots of Repubs, pissed off at not even having a meaningful vote in a primary, stayed away from a lousy candidate who left a stale RINO taste in their mouths. Newsweek is going through the throes of death right now.
ReplyDeleteIt is utterly irrelavant.
One day, soon, Rodge, your granddaughter will say "Grandpa, what was Newsweek?"
From what I read, it's not getting a lot of takers who want to buy it (who would, except Rachel Maddow or Olbi or Matthews?).
Sarah will have the last laugh and the Newsweek crew will meander to the dust bins of history.
I read a couple of days ago the NewsMax is thinking of making an offer for Newsweek. That is like the Vatican buying the Westboro Baptist "Church".

Does anyone here actually know for a fact, or would someone care to risk a guesstimate,..... How many bags of rocks are citizens of South Carolina?
