Yesterday Politico ran Sarah Palin's endorsement a shock to some.
It's about candidates who found themselves endorsed by her, when they
had no reason to believe she knew they existed. I was a tad troubled
by that, especially this.

In Meyer’s case, she had never met Palin, nor was her campaign in contact with Palin’s staff.
“Actually my campaign staff was taken completely by surprise by Sarah Palin’s endorsement,” said Meyer, the state auditor.
Meyer said she’s not even sure how Palin’s staff got her cell phone
number. She suspects a supporter, Clay Cunningham, included it in a
letter to Palin last week touting Meyer’s candidacy.

So, it seems that Sarah might be taking the word of "trusted advisers" about
who to support. Given the stakes, what could go
wrong? Is that how Brian Murphy got the nod? Who the
hell is he? I had to look it up.
Everyone here knows that I love Sarah Palin, and that I will eagerly go
with the real conservative against any go-along and get-along incumbent,
but that does not describe Bob Ehrlich. The seven NOs Murphy gave
Ehrlich in the above list are ... are ... where the hell did he get them?
They are falsehoods, a.k.a. lies. That makes Brian Murphy a
liar, and someone who would be more comfortable running as a
Democrat. Maybe that's what he is doing, ahem.
You may want to take a closer look at who you endorsed here Governor.

IIRC, Erlich pulled off an economic miracle when he was governor and turned the state deficit into a surplus (for real, not with creative bookkeeping). Lot of wrong stuff on "Palin's" list. She better yank the reins on her staff before they ruin her creds, or have National Enquirer find out who the ventriloquist is pretending to be her..

Spot on Dick -- Now I'm wondering about Bob Inglis in SC. 93% Conservative rating and he was dumped?
ReplyDeleteHeh.
ReplyDeleteMany con-men specialize in victimizing religious groups. They put on their halos, quote scripture, say all the right words, and then screw the hell out of people that trusted them to be good Christians.
Looks like Murphy might have tailored his interview with the Palin minions to fit their perceptions?
Can you say "Taken for a ride"?
Rodger - I guarantee you the Carolina Crime was enacted again wherein Dems cross over and vote in the 'open' Republican primary, picking the Repub least likely to succeed just like they gave us McRino in the '08 presidential election..

Which is why the Republicans need to take their nomination process private.
ReplyDeleteVote my mail or computer, and only by contributing Republicans.
The Dem'tards will scream, of course ... but if some fool can't be bothered to contribute to the party, then what business does he have picking nominees?
This post is old enough that noone but Rodg will see the following:

ReplyDeleteI think it's a strategy. I like it and I believe it will work. MD is and has been mostly a Democrat state, but the majority of its residents are moderate, even conservative democrats. We know how much libtards despise Sarah. We know her endorsement will be the battle horse for O'M, the "fringe radical right that wants the masses' money for the big corporations" BS, amplified by the lib media, and the help of Obimbo. That will resonate with the conservative democrats, as they are democrats for a reason. anyway, Ehrlich will win the primaries, the conservative dems will follow their conservative instinct and will vote for him, and O'M, Obambi and the rest will not be able to stop it from happening. Go Sarah!
