scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
There's a big discussion over on arfcom (www.ar15.com) about whether or not the Qur'an burning should go on. Half this country has reached pussy status and wants to keep the terrorists happy. Prediction: 90 days to a law banning "Islam bashing" as a felony hate crime and 2 years to full sharia. America was such a great place. We can tell our grandkids about it, if they'll believe us.
In a free country, as long as it harms no one, you can express yourself any way you wish. You are also responsible if someone does come to harm in you expressing yourself. If latino illegals can burn the flag in san bernardino, CA, I don't see why another flag, another book, etc, can't also be torched. It's a symbolic protest against the message or ideology that object portrays. That being said, I just hope it doesn't come to something Bradbury-esque.
I've finally concluded that 'moderate muslim' is the same as 'moderate klansman'.
