"The Best Presidents" poll is published every so often and ranks the presidents by intelligence and accomplishments while in office. The poll always taken exclusively by college history professors (I imagine all are in the same club). Since most academics lean to the left, you can imagine the outcome. The last one I read had Carter ranked higher than Reagan. Heck, they even ranked the 1st Bush higher than Reagan which still baffles me. All the republicans were ranked lower than the democrats. drummermanrick
