Rep.
Darrell Issa is finally getting what he has long craved: subpoena
power. From his new perch atop the committee responsible for oversight
investigations, the California Republican will be able to demand any
document he wishes and summon anybody to appear before him - no small
thing for a man who recently referred to President Obama as "one of the
most corrupt presidents in modern times."
Even so, there's one thing Issa says he won't subpoena: Barack Obama's
birth certificate.
The minority's gadfly is trying to become the
majority's measured man.
Issa is working to shed his reputation as an omnipresent, henpecking
nuisance whose shouting-forth turns into political headlines. With
new influence, Issa recasts self as Washington's whistleblower - WaPost

"Damn short sighted pussies."
ReplyDeleteDamn Straight.

You think he's bad, look at the two @$$holes up there from Tennessee. Talk about having to vote for the lesser of two evils instead of the man of your choice.
ReplyDeleteHe's already elected. The birth cert ain't going anywhere. That ship has sailed. The corruption thing can help with the next election.
ReplyDeleteAnon: It will become important again in 2012, if Obama attempts a second term.

ReplyDeleteCutting this faux eligibility Gordian Knot would unravel not just the Democrat party, but the corrupt ethos across party lines that's all but ruined us. And it's as easy to accomplish as demanding it be done. Allowing it to fester out of ignorance, political expediency or self interest joins other concessions to immoral government we've allowed during the past 50 years. Spiral=Down.
So, congratulations anonymous. The Sim City you were assigned to manage turned into Chicago and collapsed. Citizens stormed city hall and hanged you. You lost.
