Paid Not To Work
Why We (will always eventually)Win
Despite the
current plague, we have strong DNA, and the proper anti-bodies to deal.
This is pure fiction! My working career was in large and small companies in California, Texas, Tennessee, and Virginia. The last job was in Paris, France working with Spanish, French, British, Dutch, Belgium, and German nationals. My work rules were designated by the Dallas office. I chose to ignore US holidays and observe French holidays. Because I had less than 5 years with the company, I earned 10 paid vacation days per year and there were 10 paid holidays. My French counterparts earned 17 paid leave days, 7 of which were designated national holidays. By counterparts, I mean less than 5 years employment. The other colleagues had similar plans.

ReplyDeleteA Mudgeon from Texas
Your confused, Texican. Your time off was not mandated by federal law.
ReplyDeleteA Critical Thinker from Frisco.
I comment to note that only a Texan would append France after Paris.
ReplyDeleteWork harder. Millions on welfare are depending on you.
ReplyDeleteAlear, that's so the rest of us won't think he's talking about Paris, Texas. - Skyhawker, Doug
ReplyDeletewv: hasemeds - bought drugs on the internet?
p.s. The handicap symbol on a Texas license plate is redundant.
