Bugged by Barnacle Bam the Poseur

U.S. to propose mandatory vehicle 'black boxes'

They need records of your every move to help investigators determine the cause of accidents that somehow occur despite ubiquitous traffic cams that reduce accidents.

"Just spread open your legs and let it tickle your eggs!"  said Barnacle Bam the Poseur

"What if I remove it when you leave? What if I remove it when you leave?
What if I remove it when you leave?" said the fair Young Maiden.

"I'll just open your crack and shove it right back! said Barnacle Bam the Poseur

"And if you do it again you'll go to the pen."

    Boy does that bring back ancient memories! I was a freshman at Duke when Doug Clark & The Hot Nuts did a concert on the Quad. They performed there frequently as they were, I believe, based out of Durham. The Barnacle Bill tunes were favorites, and can still be found on their old albums. Scandalous in 1964. Pretty mild now. If memory serves, I think they occasionally performed in gold lame' jock straps

    I've invoked memories of Doug Clark & The Hot Nuts several times over the life of this blog. We had them at a fraternity party one night, and it was the best ever — and the inspiration for Animal House's toga party. (I think).

    The original inspiration for much of Animal House was Whidden Hall at McMaster in Ontario. It's now co-ed (if only to quiet it down somewhat) but in the day it was all male and completely out of control. In one of the party scenes in the movie the word "MAC" can be seen spray painted on the wall.

    Whether or not the first toga party was held at Whidden is open to debate - Whidden was built in the early sixties and toga parties were around longer than that. Legend has it that Eleanor Roosevelt held a toga party.

    Around here, this vehicular black box would let the authorities know that the uninsured, illegal Mexican driver that ran away after the accident, was the cause of the accident.
