Abbey's Alternative

This could be Father's Day ...

Abbey Clancy

... and it is for Peter Crouch, whose fiancée Abbey Clancy gave birth to his daughter just three months ago. Anyway, Abbey's posing nude to help market a new spray on tan  product; an alternative to harmful UVA and UVB rays in the tanning salon.  We in New Amerika have different alternative solutions -- which may be categorized as STFU.

  1. So you are more likely to get skin cancer if you use a tanning booth..But if you don't get enough sunlight you'll suffer from a vitamin D deficiency and get cancer everywhere else?
I love these "scientific" studies that confirm the researchers or paying sponsors prejudices. Sugar Beet industry sponsors research that proves cylamates are bad for you.

  3. The vitamin D deficiency excuse is pure BS. You get plenty of sun exposure by just going about your daily business.

I live in Texas so I have no problems getting sunlight any time of the year, however in northern climes in the winter it can be difficult. Also some people have gotten so afraid of sunlight exposure and melanoma that there are recorded instance of D deficiency in the frightened because they cover up so much and slather on sun screen before they go to the mail box. In some instances this is combined with an avoidance of foods with vitamin D.
So Ichi I take it you are for laws governing what you eat, drink, wear, and fart and that you live in a Nanny state?

  6. At the risk of being de-classy let me just say that I don't understand people who can look at that picture then bitch about some marketing guys plan to make a few bucks and save lives at the same time. The real issue here is how in the world these English sub-moron soccer players get women that look like that? Maybe she has bad teeth?

  8. Here in South Florida we have lots of tanning centers and I never could see how they stay in business. Just the amount of UV you get going from your house to the car and then into the mall is more than I ever got for the entire summer when I lived up north...

  9. Tanning bed tanners are MUCH more likely to get melanoma, while beach tanners are more in line for Basil Cell. Zero comparison there.

As far a Jersey, my wife watches the house wives thing, maybe tanning beds could be converted into bug zappers.

  14. "How do those sub-moronic soccer players get women who look like that?"

Easy, they're standing up to their armpits in bundles of hundred pound notes and drive Aston Martins.

Pretty much the same way sub moronic football and basketball players here get women who look like that, wallowing in heaps of hundred dollar bills and driving gold plated Escalades.
