Tim, ya just gettin that? I started work with 'affirmative action' dictating the course my career and my selections of people for jobs. I don't do any of that any more, but affirmative action has now been passed down to the next generation, if not the one after that. There is no such thing as 'merit' pure and alone as selection criteria any more. My whole working career was under affirmative action and EEO rules. They will never be referred to in the past tense. It would be 'discriminatory', and we can't have that... tomw
