rescinding birthright citizenship, and restricting the jurisdiction of
federal judges who stand in the way.
Robinson, who has run for Congress unsuccessfully
before, is a conservative firebrand. One of his favorite lines is,
"Jesse Helms is back -- and this time he's black!" The district
Robinson is running in, currently represented by Democrat Larry Kissel,
has been redrawn to make it more Republican.

understand the necessity for any Texas politician to curry the
Messican vote, but when those alliances lead you to ignore the
law- expect to be called on it. It's a good thing.

Don't try to rescind birthright citizenship. The 14th and 15th amendments won't allow that.
ReplyDeleteConcentrate instead on getting these young American citizens into foster care, and out of the hands of chronic foreign scofflaws.
Birthright citizenship only works if the parents owe no allegiance to any foreign power. Kind of hard to prove if the parents are carrying documents issued by a foreign consulate!

ReplyDeleteThe 14 amendment says differently. No amount of clever arguments will cancel the text of that amendment.
Unless their parents are foreign diplomats, they are citizens. A proof of Mexican Citizenship card own by their parents does not do this.
If you want to go that route, you will need to get the 14th amendment repealed.
Left out of the picture is the Texas legislature who almost unanimously went along with Perry's tuition scheme.
