‘Apparently, this same goal
of dismantling Mexican drug cartels motivated the Drug Enforcement
Administration in aiding and abetting these same cartels in laundering
millions of dollars in cash.
In fact, The New York Times reports that agents needed to seek
Department approval to launder amounts greater than $10 million in any

Issa wrote that, according to the report, many
agents said the $10 million requirement was frequently ‘waived’ because

Who says the money was handed over to the cartels?

He might be forced out, but no perp walk any more than Corzine will get a perp walk. Uhbama's is the most corrupt administration - politically, financially, morally, intellectually - ever.

I don't see a clear explanation as to what exactly was laundered. Were they turning American dollars received from drugs sales in the US into Mexican pesos? Wouldn't it be interesting if the US government was sending the Mexican cartels counterfeit Mexican money?
ReplyDeleteI would think the treasury department has the capability to print money that looks just like a peso. And the Mex government would be none too happy about the devaluation of their currency.
Some might consider it an act of economic war . . . .
First selling guns to the cartels, now $$$ laundering?
ReplyDeleteSomeone in the justice department has been watching too much "Sons Of Anarchy."
