Okay, this isn't the video I'm wanting to tell you about, but it's close enough.  Two Sunday's ago I was watching some network show, on CBS I think,  when this (similar) commercial came on.  It talked about storing your china, silverware, etc,  in their underground safe, but the whole while the video shows a guy buring his stash of rifles,  guns, and rocket launchers (joke).  Here the  dialog was of  "intruders breaking into your home, searching for valuables ... ."  It was clear to me that this guy was burying guns as protection against gummint seizure.  I made a mental note to look the company up, but didn't write it down, so ... you know. Anyway, I think it's a remarkable social commentary on several levels.  That's all.

    If you were to actually bury valuable supplies of metal objects in a case like this, be sure to liberally sprinkle metal filings all around the area (and some decoy areas) to prevent easy detection.

    The fantasy character, Repairman Jack, would hide his gold and small guns behind his baseboards, right along side his water pipes.

    He would have to visit his friend Abe if he needed any heavy armaments. Just part of the limitations of apartment living.

    Google MonoVault. Underground storage for your "valuables", sized for handgun, carbine or full size rifle/shotgun. Hopefully at your next no-knock visit the ATF would not get all of your valuables.

    Mossberg has been selling shotguns with their own waterproof, synthetic case for years.

    Those PVC pipes with screw tops are nice, or, I recommend a 30 gallon screw lid inside a 55 gal screw lid buried. And I second placing metal all over your area that you stash. Even putting some metal bits that are peeking through the dirt will allow you to scare enough bomb phobic people away when the shtf
