On the eve of the much anticipated 2012 Georgia ballot eligibility
hearing, Obama’s attorney, Michael Jablonski has sent a letter to
Georgia’s Secretary of State Brian Kemp stating that Mr. Kemp intervene
to halt the hearing.
Mr. Jablonski stated that he intends to suspend further participation
in these proceedings, including the hearing scheduled for January 26.
Mr. Jablonski stated in his letter to the court, “Nonetheless, the
Administrative Law Judge has exercised no control whatsoever over this
proceeding and it threatens to degenerate into a pure forum for
political posturing to the detriment of the reputation of the State and
your Office. Rather than bring this matter to a rapid conclusion,
the ALJ has insisted on agreeing to a day of hearings, and on the full
participation of the President in his capacity as a candidate.
Only last week, he denied a Motion to Quash a subpoena he approved on
the request of plaintiff’s counsel for the personal appearance of the
President at the hearing, now scheduled for January 26.”

Hours ago, we became aware of a letter sent from Obama
attorney Michael Jablonski to the Georgia Secretary of State. In that
letter, Jablonski made it clear than neither he, nor his client, Obama,
would appear in a Georgia court tomorrow morning.
The case regarding Obama’s eligibility and his inclusion
on the Georgia 2012 presidential ballot is ON.
This evening, the Georgia Secretary of State, the Hon.
Brian P Kemp issues the following letter in response to Jablonski!!!
In
the first place, Mr big-shot Yankee lawyer,
OSAH Rule 616-1-2-.17 cited in your letter only applies to parties to a
hearing. As the referring agency the Sec. State ain't party to
the
candidate challenge hearings scheduled for (and will be held)
tomorrow. If your client thinks he's above our law, and
chooses not
to show up, he does so at his own peril. If you catch my drift,
Mr.
big-shot Yankee lawyer.
(Or words to that effect)

ReplyDeleteIt appears that lawyerin' is a mite harder when the judge and Attorney General ain't on the payroll.

~ They will be....they will be(in my best yoda voice)
I live near Paulding County and I can tell you they aint kiddin around. Cant wait for him to campaign here with a couple of Dukes of Hazzard cops waiting for his ass at the airport.
ReplyDeleteThis trying to get out of these hearings tells me that The Komrade Prezident REMF has quite a bit to hide. If he does in fact not go to these hearings, that should add one more reason, not that he needs another reason, to be impeached and kicked out of the White House. Not just now, but RIGHT now!

So it looks like the Devil DIDN'T go down to Georgia.
