scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
The barn army is a pretty bright group, I figured the last line was obvious.
Back in the 70s my Dad had that hanging on the wall over his desk at work. His boss walks in one day, stops, reads it, reaches over and slaps my Dad on the shoulder and says "Boy ain't that the truth."
Then again,
ReplyDeleteall "weakest links" are.
Sent this quote to Number One this morning:
ReplyDelete"80% of all engineers are in the top 10% of the field. The rest are in the top 20%."
Or, is this off-topic?

Sorry, I know this is old...
ReplyDeleteThe parts of the body were arguing over who should be in charge.
The legs thought they should be in charge because they took the body where ever it needed to go.
The arms thought they should be in charge because they did all the heavy lifting for the body.
The heart thought it should be in charge because it was the only part that could love.
The brain said it should be in charge because it did all the thinking.
Then the a$$hole applied for the job. The other body parts all laughed and refused to listen to it. So the the a$$hole closed itself off.
After a few days the legs were weak, the arms were shaking. The heart was beating fast and the brain was woozy and disoriented.
Eventually the other parts all agreed that the a$$hole could be the boss...
As is true today, David.
ReplyDeleteDavid, you forgot the last line - This just goes to prove you don't have to be a a brain to be the boss - just an asshole.
