Cloutier, who took the video while on vacation from Ontario, said that
she would have expected the officers to have used tranquilizers rather
than shooting the cows dead.
Such a waste of beef during a time when it has a really good price.
Form my experience, cows that find their way to the highway have no owners. Or at least that's how it appears, when you can't get reinbursed for the damages to your car when you hit one.
Lead dust in the air. Lead in the meat. OMFG clear everybody away and call the Hazmat team! They'll know what to do! I really thought she'd say something about lead. Or do Ontario cops use rubber bullets since the emasculation of Canada? Lt. Col. Gen. Tailgunner dick
Tranquilizers aside, I *really* would have hoped they'd use a gun (rifle) actually designed to kill an animal of this mass. The pistol used looked only slightly more effective than beating it to death with a lead pipe.
"Jackasses! You let a column get stalled and strafed on account of two jackasses?!" . . . (GUNSHOTS)

ReplyDeleteAnon: Farmers often use .22s to dispatch livestock.
ReplyDeleteThey make sure the animal is calm, and use very careful bullet placement.
Cattle aren't hard to herd, but a man yelling and waving his doesn't work well.
