Teh One's Magic- HOW IT'S
DONE ( last June)
In the latest,
much celebrated, unemployment report, the labor force participation
rate had plummeted to 63.7%, the most rapid decline in U.S.
history. That means that under President Obama nearly 5 million
Americans have fled the workforce in hopeless despair.
The trick is that when those 5 million are not counted as in the work
force, they are not counted as unemployed either. They may
desperately need and want jobs. They may be in poverty, as many
undoubtedly are, with America suffering today more people in poverty
than in the entire half century the Census Bureau has been counting
poverty. But they are not even counted in that 8.3% unemployment
rate that Obama and his media cheerleaders were so tirelessly
celebrating last week. [Forbes
Report]

Perhaps we could start a pool (or an opinion survey, if your place of employment forbids pools).
ReplyDeleteI would be willing to opine, to the tune of a sawbuck, that the unemployment number as published by the FedGov will be 7.6 the week before the election.
Any takers?

Perhaps a second pool on whether or not there will actually be an election worthy of the name...
So in this bounty of great news where is the homeless number ???

dangit! Finish the sentence:
ReplyDelete80% of Americans Want Higher Taxes ON OTHER PEOPLE.

As ever e-C- 10 on the brilliance scale.
ReplyDeleteWhen this story originally came out, I said, "Fine, smart guy. Find those 80%-ers and raise their taxes. Then, leave me the hell alone."
ReplyDeleteYay! Just think, in only nine more short months their fudged unemployment rate will finally be below the rate Obama promised it would never go above! Only three points above where it was when he took office. Who could possibly win against such a solid record?
ReplyDeleteAlso, no amount of taxes could keep up with Congress' spending.
