Cooking Pasta and making sandwiches
FOOD
helpful kitchen hints for new brides
from the RKOF&S'
cookbook "See Sou Sued"
I think the grilled cheese sandwich made by laying the toaster on it's side and cheese on top of the lower piece is still the best you ever offered....on our toaster the two pieces of toast even pop out far enough that the top one lands perfectly on the melted cheese. My wife has a toasted ham and cheese almost every day for lunch and thanks me for finding the idea...thank you
I buy 20 pairs of the exact same sock at a time, so when one gets lost or worn out along the way, it doesn't matter. And there's no time spent picking out pairs after they come out of the dryer.
See, this is why I come here several times a day. You never know when something as incredibly informative will be up. I have a new way of making my daughter's lunch now. Thanks Rodger!!
I thought I was the only one that did balony and salami like that. Do you number your socks?
ReplyDeleteTim
No, I put individual pairs in "sock sacks".
ReplyDeleteI number tube socks with a sharpie. That way you always wear the same two together. They sag together and they wear out together.

ReplyDeleteTim

I was given a rice cooker in University by one of my Chinese classmates.
ReplyDeleteI used it to cook everything! Sometimes I even made rice.

ReplyDeleteNext week is today...
I use tweezers to pull my nose hairs. I get some really good sneezing fits.
daniel
Who needs tweezers? Just grab a bunch and give them a fast yank.
ReplyDeleteOh, the first few times hurts like the devil with your eyes watering, but you get used to it.
