ReplyDeleteHow did I forget that Cracker! A friend who grew up in S. Kentucky brought some (unstamped)back a few years ago. The first swig damn near kilt me. It did get smoother though.

After decades of collecting cases of canning jars, I've gone completely to screw top plastic jars. They survive trips to the beach and backpacking. I keep batteries in them on diving and kayak excursions.
You could make the aesthetic case for keeping over-proof liquor in glass jars though.
