WASHINGTON—Cholesterol levels in U.S. children and
adolescents dropped in the past two decades, according to federal
health researchers, but a large proportion of young people still have
abnormal levels that could place them at risk of prematurely developing
heart disease.
The study showed that 8.1% of children and adolescents
ages 6 to 19 had elevated total cholesterol levels between 2007 and
2010, a decline from 11.3% who had high cholesterol between 1988 and
1994. The findings, led by researchers at the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention, were published Tuesday in the Journal of the
American Medical Association.

| Note:
In my example the boy's French fries were cooked in hummingbird tongue
oil, a very good source of HDL cholesterol. |

Yeah, but it's real time consuming, trapping and then ripping the tongues out of the humming birds before releasing them.
ReplyDeleteWhy last month it took me positively hours to get those 10,538 tongues needed to do my healthy home fries
Eating cholesterol does not increase your cholesterol. Eating chicken breasts does not give you bigger tits. Eating Rocky Mountain oysters doesn't make you ballsy.
ReplyDeleteMark,
ReplyDeleteyou may be wrong on that last one...
I understand Mark is right. Too many carbohydrates cause high LDL levels. Not enough exercise causes low HDL levels and bad cholesterol ratios. Or so I gather from my cardiologist.
ReplyDeleteBad Cop - No donut.
Oh yeah, zinc.
ReplyDeleteStill--- no donuts
K-nine - I believe Mark is right. In my opinion, if you're not ballsy to start with, you probably haven't got the gear to eat Rocky Mountain Oysters.
