Camus and Sartre fell out over Camus' ideal that the individual was more important than the state while Sartre was a committed Stalinist and totalitarian. Camus said that Sartre might be provened right but at least Camus did not have to feel responsible for the left's massive body count.
ReplyDeleteOf course, Sartre has been proven wrong every time Marx has been implemented and at an every growing list of victims of the state.
Freddie Sykes
a goofy looking bastid as well
ReplyDelete...and yet nobody on our side has found a way to hold him accountable. If Mittens and his minions can't find a way in the first year or two of their reign then I think it might be time to change sides.

ReplyDeleteFolks, this-here is a Cleansing Moment! I feel GOOD!

ReplyDeleteIf you refuse Obamacare and refuse to pay the mandatory tax, the IRS, who is in charge of collecting that tax, could theoretically charge you with "Willful failure to pay over tax", which is a felony and punishable by up to five years in prison.
With a felony conviction, you lose all voting rights.
Chunkdog: Congress specifically forbade the IRS to use any kind of civli or criminal prosecution for the Obamacare tax.
ReplyDeleteThe IRS can seize tax returns and government benefits, but that is it.
"First President to recite the Muslim call to prayer in perfect Arabic."
ReplyDeleteIt's not because he's Muslim - it's because he's the most brilliant man ever to inhabit the White House (displacing Thomas Jefferson to the #2 spot).
