You can just keep cashing the Social Security checks forever, so long as you don't report their deaths, right? (That's the silver lining behind not being able to afford to put 'em in a Nursing Home.)
They have been so pampered and sheltered from reality that they don't even know mom and dad are on the verge of bankruptcy from living above their means and supporting their idiot kid's demented life style.
A few months ago, I told my 38 y.o. snotty liberal son that he better sock some funds in an IRA. I mentioned that all my estate is going to the Lung Society.Cough, cough.
Listening to those reverse mortgage ads I always thought that the kids would lose out to the mortgage holder. Now, from Steve's comment, I see that it's a feature, not a bug.
