While
working as deputy White House chief of staff, President Obama's
current campaign manager, Jim Messina, used his AOL account to
orchestrate the controversial deal by which drug companies lobbied for
and ran ads supporting passage of Obamacare, which was just one example
in a government-wide trend.
* key political appointees at the U.S. Department of
Energy working on
the controversial clean energy loan program made infamous by the
Solyndra debacle routinely conducted official government business using
private email accounts in an attempt to shield their communication from
public exposure via the Freedom of Information Act.
* Political appointees at another federal agency who
found a clever way
to not only use private email accounts but to rig the system
automatically to remove all traces of them from government servers. [Full]

Charming.
ReplyDeleteAnother unqualified diplomatic appointment.
Wait a minute - I seem to remember a BIG scandal - didn't it involve that government official who had used her personal email a few times?
ReplyDeleteWhat WAS her name? Sharon? Shelly?
No.
Sarah! Sarah Palin! That was it!
The media was ALL over that scandal. Made the headlines. Even though there was apparently no intent to hide anything.
I'm SURE that they will give the same intense scrutiny to this scandal.
Not.
Excellent recall!
ReplyDeleteLinda beat me to it. But yes, the Libs were wanting her to step down over yahoo e-mails...IIRC, this was AFTER Zero's minions had the big confab in Anchorage with AK Dems.

Being a former Marine, tonight I repped my company at the Ft Lauderdale Veterans job fair. I spent the night with many respectable former hard-chargers, and DWS. Rasciscism of the like I have never seen. Lil Debbie almost lept into the arms of every black person there. I shared the table with the Dept of Labor, all black. Strangely, Big white Marine guy never got a second glance. It has just dawned on me I missed a one time chance to film Dem Racism. Sorry to all, I had three jobs to fill. Might have a hat trick. Do these people know that it is a felony to conspire to commit crimes, even if the conspiracy is done outside the 7-11, as in: "Hey, Jametria, wanna rob the sebben?"
ReplyDeleteA few seconds prior to the crime, a conspiracy has been formed.
The "wonder kinder" who think they are so smart are skirting on jail time, and it isn't reduced for good behavior. The original crime may not be so much, but the CONSPIRACY to cover it up is also a crime in and of itself.
And I am not a lawyer.
