Actually, Quayle just read what was on the back of the flash card and gave way to the authority of the teacher. If anybody in that scenario should be indicted, it should be the corrupt -- unionized -- education establishment that put that ill-formed card in his hand.
As usual, if you can't spell, blame a union teacher.
