  1. Ah. Saw a face in the crowd I haven't seen in well over fifty years. Startled me, but I'm sure it was her. Right place and time. I was out of sight, on the periphery of course.

I didn't see anyone I knew but I bet we all saw a lot of faces that belong to the names on the Vietnam Memorial.

  5. At 4:39, I like the gas tank filler line behind the tail lights. Just one problem with that...

  6. I liked the music and most of the images, but not the cars. I grew up in NYC, and had zero love for them. They evoke no warm fuzzies for me. Besides, though I grew up in the 50s and 60s, I never considered cars of that era particularly attractive. 1930s, yes.

  7. Yeah, yeah, you'd feel that way about women too Skoonj if you'd never got laid.

You missed out buddy, the cars were the other half of the fun. No wonder NY'ers are so dour.

    (insert happy face here)

  11. We knew every regular on American Bandstand and talked incessantly about which girl we'd like to bang (all of them). When we moved to the Baltimore area ABS was superseded by a piece of crap called the Buddy Dean Show which was later parodied by John Waters in "Hairspray." (I went to school with Waters in JHS, which is why I can identify with nearly everything in his movies)
