ABC
News, which for example, ignored the Pennsylvania trial of Dr.
Kermit
Gosnel— the abortion doctor accused of performing late-term abortions
on already delivered babies, killing one woman, but decides this is
imprtant? It's a mere piffle. What I take umbrage with is ABC's
lede.

The
new pope's first crisis is not related to the Church's controversial
position on contraceptives or proposals for female clergy. Rather, Pope
Francis' first major quandary is getting rid of a Puerto Rican
archbishop who, despite the Vatican's numerous requests, has repeatedly
refused to step down.

How are tenets of the Catholic church, unchanged for a millennium,
controversial? And to whom?

ReplyDeleteThe first order of business is casting from the pulpit those who tarnish our faith. I'm not RC but that one hard fast rule applies to us all. Second would be to cast out those in the laity that corrupt the clergy and everyone they come in contact with. The heathen journalists with their idiotic opinions and comments shouldn't even be mentioned in Christian company. That's what I see.
"How are tenets of the Catholic church, unchanged for TWO millennium, controversial?" Fixed that for you, Boss. Not to mention the fact that the Pope could not change those things if he wanted to. The Media must work very hard at not learning anything about the workings of the Church. They seem to think that it's a dictatorship (which, for consistency, they should like and support.)
ReplyDeleteIri said, "The heathen journalists with their idiotic opinions and comments shouldn't even be mentioned in Christian company." Well, that wouldn't us leave much to talk about here, now would it? =0)
