Amgela Corey (and Obama) indicteed

COMEUPPANCES

Res Ipsa Loquitor

Florida State’s Attorney Angela Corey has been indicted by a citizens’ grand jury, convening in Ocala, Florida, over the alleged falsification of the arrest warrant and complaint that lead to George Zimmerman being charged with the second degree murder of African-American teenager Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida.

The indictment of Corey, which was handed down last week (see www.citizensgrandjury.com), charges Corey with intentionally withholding photographic evidence of the injuries to George Zimmerman’s head in the warrant she allegedly rushed to issue under oath, in an effort to boost her reelection prospects. At the outset of this case, black activists such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, who whipped up wrath against Zimmerman, demanded that he be charged with murder, after local police had thus far declined to arrest him pending investigation. By all rights, Obama and his Administration should be cited as co-conspirators for finding a puppet (Corey) willing to turn this into a self-serving racial issue for Democrats.  It's not just the IRS that needs to be RICO-d

  4. Hate to burst everyone's bubble, but this citizens' grand jury has no official standing.

Pretty much the equivalent of you and half a dozen of your buddies sitting around the breakfast table, impeaching Teh iWon.

But it DID feel good to read it, dinnit?

  5. I think I read that under Florida law, a prosecutor has no limits on discretion, and may be removed only by the governor.
If the governor had a pair, he'd do that, then the fun, like disbarment, could begin.
OTOH, I don't understand why a higher level lawyer, like the state AG, could not convene a grand jury to see if she did anything beyond her ethical malfeasance that rose to a criminal level.
    She needs a good whacking.

  6. Fuel for the fire under Zimmerman's lawyers. He's going to be rich one of these days. Maybe. The lawyers for sure.

Way back when Obama ordered Holder
to bring me the head of George
    Zimmerma, I saw this coming.

    I mentioned to coworkers and
friends that at the very least,
    Zimmerman would be acquitted or
that Angela Corey could be in-
    dicted.

  8. So close, Rodge. What you missed is Angela Corey is a Janet Reno wannabe. I don't know what Florida does to breed these psychopaths.
