Helen Keller Meets Charles Chaplin
Random Historical Tidbits
Ron Metzger sent
me some truly original photgraphs that I was able to track down at Gee
Mail. I had previously seen just 5 out of the lot. I
did mess with one of them. Sorry.
Clicked on the link, very interesting. Especially-filming the MGM lion roar, Sgt. Stubby, the Queen and M. Monroe the same age and Bea Arthur a WWII marine.
Caroline Otero, courtesan, the most sought after woman in all of Europe.
I've always wondered how they managed to have sex with ALL that difficult and time consuming clothing to remove. I mean, all that lacing and ties, button loopings and so forth. Even the shoes required a tool to unbutton for removing. Wha?!
It's easy to see that Helen was a VERY friendly lady, as she sizes up Charlie!
