Her recipes are almost always geared for REAL people - not the froufrou stuff you find on Food Network (which I cam currently boycotting - Paula Deen related).
Oh yeah! We have had them 4 times since my wife found the recipe online two weeks ago. I prefer the small Honey Gold Potatoes, you know, the ones with "buttery sweet flavor with velvety golden flesh and delicate skin" (their words, not mine), over New Potatoes. 450 on the oven temp is key to getting that crispy skin and bacon chunks (or bits if that's your style)take them to the next level.
Bet they'd go great with road kill! Just kidding....Everything goes great with roadkill..if you like roadkill. Aw I'm funning with you... I'd like these. They are similar to a family recipe of herbed taters.
I'm gonna try that one!
