Those pesky impediments on his predecessors — namely, federal law, the separation of powers, and the Constitution — have proved as tough as tissue paper in containing Obama’s ambition to impose statism on America. However, the closest the  NR author comes to recommending a course of action is commenting on a Justice  Stevens quote  from the Clinton era (inset) “ Obama sees things differently. For him, the Constitution is for chumps, and the law is for losers.
