There are more differences than that. MM is the single most recognized woman in the world. I am of that age where If one of the Kardashian sisters ran into me on a sidewalk, I would not recognize them.
MM also had talent, something none of the Kardashian sisters possess!
In Marilyn's time, stars and celebrities were like American cars of the era; each one was sleek, exciting, distinctive and recognizable.
You could no more confuse Monroe, with Dors or with Mansfield than confuse a Chrysler with a Lincoln or a Cadillac.
The Kardashians and many others who are the celebrities of today are like the cars of today, they resemble each other to the point of bordom and confusion, look somewhat out of proportion with their lofty rear trunks, and are easily forgetable.
