A Clemson Dive


 
Backstreets Pub and Deli in Clemson, South Carolina.  Terps fan that I am, "Fk Clemson" rolls easily off  my tongue."  Although, they did get screwed when Coach K's lobbying for N.C. State being given a bid to the NCAA toony cost Clemson a deserved spot. Fk Duke flows even more effortlessly.

    When this Bill was working it's way through the S.C. Legislature it had overwhelming support. Naturally there is a vane of anti gun nuts scattered throughout the state. They lobbied heavily NOT to pass the Bill and solicited business owners also not to support it.

    The Bill was signed into Law by Nikki Haley who promised that she would sign it. The law now "allows" licensed CWP holders to carry their weapons into Bars & Restaurants {previously not allowed}.

    This Bar is located on or very near the Clemson campus. This jerk is playing to the low info choir from the campus. None of whom have a CWP most likely.

    Besides that carrying on any school campus is still prohibited by law. The Law also prohibits anyone carrying a weapon to consume alcohol. The Law also allows business owners to prohibit the carrying of weapons on their premises if they wish, as long as it's posted.

    This asshole just though he play cute with his posting and play to his crowd, none of whom carry anyway.

    Unintended consequences - his Facebook page received so many negative comments he took it down; ditto Yelp: his business is down to a 2 star rating.
    One really should think twice about insulting potential customers, especially if they're gun-toting "douchebags"
