GAH!
Gay
and lesbian troops perform in drag on American military base
Troops based at the Kadena Air Base in Japan know how to party. On
Saturday, six gay and straight service members applied some of their
finest makeup and lip synced to "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" in what
is believed to be first drag queen and king show on an American
military base. The show was thrown in support for the base's recently
formed OutServe-SLDN chapter, a nonprofit advocacy group for the army's
LGBT community.
Navy Lt. Marissa Greene told Stars and Stripes she only expected to
sell 75 tickets for the variety show, but ended up selling more than
400 in ten days. The event went through the same approval process as
other on-base fundraisers go through, with the only caveat being that
it was not allowed to be labeled a "drag show" in its publicity
materials. The show was warmly received by spectators, who rocked out
to performances by the likes of Manny Nuff and Chocolate Sunrise ("a
crowd favorite," the website notes.)
Just a few years ago, performances like these would have been grounds
for a possible discharge. The repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell has made
it possible for events like this to occur. --Jordan Valinsky
This
left-leaning San Francisco style homosexual culture—in-your-face
homosexual culture— is repugnant to me. For starters, public display of
affection ought end with your last drunk-ass fraternity party, let alone
public buggery.
Srsly. Plus, it's a good bet that the real majority are, like me,
sick
of bad behavior from what's likely a tyrannical minority of
minorities, whether it's gays, whiny college brats, Hispanics,
Blacks,
or anthropogenic global warming alarmists. Our military have 238 years
of tradition, and while I am pissed that Obama took it upon himself to
dictate new gay policy, it's a fait accompli. But, for
chrisake, how about trying to maintain some military
bearing. Learn to behave
yourselves, and respect other people.
There were the
"Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" as they called themselves, Drag
Queens dressed as nuns, and the Janus Society, who believe
sadomasochism should be the order of the day. The slogans were
interesting. I saw signs, pictures, T-shirts that said, "2, 4, 6,
8, MANY OF US AREN'T STRAIGHT," said by CALIFORNIA TEACHERS ASSOC.,
bragging about HOMOSEXUALITY BEING TAUGHT IN THE CLASSROOMS IN FRONT OF
YOUR CHILDREN. One man carried a sign that said, "I WANT TO
SHOWER WITH A TERRIFIED MARINE." Another carried a sign showing a
man masturbating and they intended to have a pun, tongue-in-cheek, on
the subject of stopping AIDS. It was a "Stop AIDS project."
So they showed the picture of the man masturbating with the sign saying
"BEAT IT LONG! BEAT IT HARD! BEAT IT GOOD! BEAT
AIDS!" Get it?

If LGBT's are 2% of the population, why is 90% of news, movies & entertainment about them? Why don't they STFU.
ReplyDeleteignore amos
if 2%, why 90%?
ReplyDeleteThat's a fair question. Talent, intelligence, charm, fabulousness; to name a few reasons.
Or — as in the case of Rodge — bi-curiousity.
Oh, right.
ReplyDeleteLike some straights, they're attentions are not occupied with the complexities of trying to create and preserve another generation that can survive without us.

Of course it's "their". I'm typing in a standing position.

He wants to shower with a terrified Marine. First he's never met a Marine, they don't scare easily. Second, when the Marine splatters his wimpy body, then its a hate crime and not the least bit his fault. America deserves everything it gets.
ReplyDeleteI have gay relatives in the US military. The quiet kind.
ReplyDeleteThey will fight the enemies of our country.
I bet most of the gays in the US military are this kind.
Meanwhile, one of the reasons the ancient Spartans were so bad ass was the acceptance and encouragement of homosexual relationships.
ReplyDelete.
Umm, no Spartans were bad assed because they were trained from childhood to fight and kill. Not because there were supposedly queer. Your feeble and asinine attempts of rewriting history are insipid at best.
ReplyDeleteSorry guy, you've only got part of the story. Yes they were trained from childhood but homosexual relationships were encouraged. Learn some history.
