scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."

3 primary challengers means he wins
Time
to put him in the blender
We
now know what John Boehner really thinks of his Republican colleagues,
and those Americans who gave him a chance to be Speaker in 2010.
On the issues front, Boehner, who faces three primary opponents,
revealed that out of all the problems facing the nation, the one that
he is willing to go to the wall to achieve is immigration
reform. [...]
By revealing his fealty to the giant corporate and elitist interests
... Boehner made clear what most had suspected for a long while.
The man who was at best a reluctant warrior in the battle to reduce the
size and scope of government is willing to risk power for his drinking
buddy’s corporate interests.
[Boehner's Disdain Spells Trouble]
I have for a long time felt that Boner and the current leadership was going to betray the base. I thought however, that it would come after the '14 election cycle.
For them to be so blatant about these issues before that just shows their arrogance and stupidity.
It's now official. . . put the entire repubic party on a "Death/Suicide Watch". They are done, finished, kaput. The once "Grand Ole" has become the "Same Ole" party.
Snatching defeat from the jaws of a certain victory! They never fail to disappoint, never.
There are some "Fire Boehner" yard signs and other scattered indications of opposition in the district, but there are no widespread media campaigns rivaling Boehner's. His campaign headed into the last month with some $3.3 million available against opponents on shoestring budgets.
"However, challenger J.D. Winteregg has gained attention in the last few days with a satirical online ad claiming he offers the remedy for "electile dysfunction" personified by Boehner. The takeoff on the Cialis drug's "When the moment is right" ads warns that "Boehner shouldn't count his chickens before they hatch" and concludes with Winteregg proclaiming that he doesn't golf."
