Yaaaaayyyyy! Virginia 7th, IMHO, is the most conservative district in Virginia. Dems don't even run here. All Can'tor had to do was listen to us a little, and speak out on Fox; e.g, like The Leader he claimed to be on conservative principles and against the Progs, and the seat and maybe a Speakership was his for life. I hope you're right, Colonel. Not knowing anything about that district I was afraid the GOP establishment might not support Brat as vigorously as they should and the Dems might grab the seat. I'll rest easier with the insight you have given about it being a staunch conservative district.

MikeG, nobody has filed to run in the general, so the only name on the ballot will be Brat. Cantor? or somebody else can legally run a write in campaign, but I don't think Cantor could pull it off in the general, because we're fired up! ^ me @9:45 - Correction - the Dems dredged up a candidate, Jack Trammell, to run against Brat in the general election. I doubt he has a chance in this district, unless Cantor runs as a write in and splits the vote. Lt. Col. Gen. Tailgunner dick
