scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
I use a Ped-Egg, from the store. It works very well at scraping off callouses, after which I apply a little lotion. The only negative is that right now I can't find replacement blades, which used to be available.
And if you have toe nail fungus, use Vic's Vap-o-Rub on it. Way cheaper that the prescription stuff, and way less chance of an allergic reaction (like I had)
If you're serious about it, slather it under and around the entire nail(s). It kills the fungus - makes the little buggers explode. You *do* have to wait a couple of months for the nail to grow and drag the dead crud out, 2X/day, AM & PM.
Unless you have very, very small feet, that much liquid will not cover much of them. We doubled the recipe; still nowhere near enough. Other than that, seems like a nifty idea.
I have a sneaking suspicion that anyone with calluses like this, likely needs them because they go about barefoot a lot.
ReplyDeletenope. I only go barefoot at home, and I get monster calluses. I think I even used a metal file once to get one of them under control.
ReplyDeletethis looks like it might be a better option.

ReplyDeleteMy first choice was a belt sander. That looks much easier, but I'd be concerned the skin would fall off to the bone.

Or you could walk 1200 mile/year barefoot on the beach. There are benefits to body parts beyond feet.

ReplyDeleteI like winning a lot better than losing.
