We
are five weeks from the election and the Republicans’ message? Crickets.
They have not campaigned on securing the border because they do not
want to secure the border.
The sure as heck are not campaigning against Obamacare. The program
continues to poll negatively. Voters continue to hate it. Voters
continue to see negative impact from it in their lives, from both the
cost to their jobs. Obamacare continues to strangle the economy.
And the Republicans not only just voted to keep funding it, but have
consciously decided to not even campaign against it. In fact, a number
of Republican lobbyists are now making money engaged in lobbying
related to Obamacare.
If the GOP does not want to campaign against a law that continues to
remain unpopular, and if the GOP wants to continue attacking its
conservative base as whores while collaborating with K Street
lobbyists, and if the GOP does not even want to secure our border with
Mexico I have no idea why anyone would want to even vote for them as
the alternative to Obama.
I bet the polls are reflecting that precisely. If the GOP won’t fight
against Obamacare, why bother fighting for them. [Five Weeks; NoCoherence]
Perfect. We only need ten pins for the win and the Republicans keep giving us a 7-10 split. Even when they get to set the pins.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the two have become one. Republicans secretly or not so secretly back a lot of the same policies the Democrats do. They're just happy they're not in charge to get blamed for it. Wish we'd never traded our three branch form of government for a two party one.
ReplyDeleteRomney ran and conservatives stayed away in droves. So lets check that milk we through out and see if it got better.

The Republican party is now the child of the fairly well to do parents that allow their chubby 25 year old son to play on the internet all day and flex his electronic muscles.
ReplyDeleteAt least he's in the basement; out of sight and the stench of unwashed ass is kept away from polite guests.
The Republicans and the Democrats are nothing more than opposite ends of the same steaming turd. The only difference between the two parties is whose cronies get to slop at the government trough when THEY are in charge.
