KIRSTEN
POWERS: ‘IT’S NOT THE ROLE OF THE GOVERNMENT’ TO DELEGITIMIZE FOX NEWS
Powers
explained this was just one instance of the regular occurring theme of
some of the left side of the ideological spectrum trying to limit free
speech.
“It’s
been gradual,” she said. “It started out with the administration’s,
what I call the war on Fox News, when they said Fox News is not a
legitimate organization and started this really concerted campaign to
delegitimize a news organization. That was the first time where I went,
‘Hmm, this doesn’t seem right.” You know, something is a little off
here. This isn’t really the role of the government. It isn’t really
something the White House should be lending its stature to and the fact
that they were unable – as you remember I voted for Obama and he was
very popular when he first came in. And the media was completely
enthralled by him. So the idea you couldn’t have one media outlet that
wasn’t on board with to me was chilling. It was like, ‘Wow, you need
everybody worshipping you.’ So that was concerning.”
Powers
said at the time she saw it as an isolated incident, but then as the
years went by, there were more incidents that caught he attention.

YOU are WHY we have a First Amendment A$$HOLE!

Obama finally gets it right. There is no Islamic Extremism. The murdering, etc is just plain ol' Islam. Some are just more adherent to their faith - just like Christianity.
ReplyDeleteMany TV services have One America News. It is mostly news, and generally conservative. OAN does have some commentary, but doesn't mix it with news. They were a cosponsor of the Conservative Political Action Conference, and had a speaker: Tomi Lahren. Lahren has a weekend opinion program on OAN. She is conservative, a good speaker, blonde, 22, and a babe.
ReplyDeleteOAN does make a few mistakes. Their crawl is sometimes problematic in spots. They sometimes mispronounce persons and places, but all networks seem to do that. Overall, though, they are an excellent news network. If you have it, try it.
They are very new, and linked to another network, AWE, A Wealth of Entertainment. It used to be called the Wealth Network. It carries shows about upscale life, cruises, castles and kings, and so on. I love it.
I have Prism TV, associated with Century Link. If you use Prism, you already have OAN. If you have another provider, you might ask for it.
Piss poor attempt at moral relativism anon.
