  5. Some of those kids on the front row can probably tie their own shoes. Must be a new "Basic Allowance for Nursing" that gives soldier moms an incentive to stay with it.

  6. Around 1988 an actual Mustang Marine with a warriors soul became Commandant of the Marine Corps. His name was Al Gray. He had a meet and greet at the base theater (3rd MAW) and during it, some BAM Gunny asked him the predictable question..."Sir, what future advancements do you forsee for women in the Marine Corps"?

He shook his head and said "Lady, if I had my way you would be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen where you belong..." Anything he said after that was inaudible due to the explosion of cheers and Ooh Rah's coming from the crowd. The Orange County Register lost it's mind the next day. Those were the days. I remember female Marines that were perpetually preggers. It was a great scam, they did almost nothing and got promoted like clockwork while good guys that did their job got passed over and shown the door. -Anymouse

Not just the Marines, the NYPD is notorious for this scam. Those who do, stay, and those who do nothing advance. The world is f*cked.

  10. They're called "Lactation Rooms", and I defy you to find a headquarters building in any service without one.
