scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
I'm not Catholic, but during my self imposed exile in the Georgia woods (after my 412th divorce) I was channel surfing one night and came across EWTN. I stopped. There she was. I listened for a while. The next night, I dropped by again and did so for many many nights afterwards. Her discussions were always interesting and enlightening. And to boot, she was an absolutely hilarious crack-up - there were always more than a few laughs. After her illness, I would watch reruns. She will be missed.

ReplyDeleteThat was pretty much my experience as well Nipples (although I am often a practicing Catholic). I found EWTN cathartic, and still do.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Gizzip watches religiously. I enjoy the reruns of Bishop Sheen.
