As a resident of Maricopa County I feel I can say that I am fairly familiar with the Sheriff and can honestly report that he is an unpleasant, egotistical, petty, venal, fiscally-corrupt man and I will continue to vote for him.
In a perfect world I would want nothing to do with him, but we do not live in that world.
As he and a number of other Southern-Arizona Sheriffs are the only folks standing their ground against this invasion (and it IS an invasion), I will take my I will take my "knights", warts and all, where I can find them.
Re FishStyx's comment: We have another egotistical, petty and venal fellow running for president. Between the two, I'd rather have Sheriff Arpaio, whom I believe actually WOULD build a wall and otherwise enforce immigration laws and keep us safe, rather than "make deals" backing down from those promises.
