scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
The
great thing is that, if you can afford it, the Second Amendment
explicitly wants you to own this in order to confront the power of
government gone bad. Hoo-yah!
Possibly no better example of mission creep destroying an otherwise good idea. The original model has machine guns in a DC-3. Cheap and devastating and the rotary engines ran comparatively cool. This one is in an expensive platform with turboprop engines vulnerable to shoulder launched AA rockets to the point that they quit using it in Iraq.
Every time I hear about terrorist groups in East and West Africa and the Philippines, I think of the AC-130. Use one to locate the main enemy camps, surround them with spec ops ground troops, then use the AC-130 to hit the camp hard. Then, as they run through the jungle, they get taken out by those spec ops ground troops. It won't take too many of those missions to seriously deplete the terrorist groups in those areas.
Awesome weaponry! No wonder they were known as "Spooky" and "Puff the Magic Dragon"!

Now THAT'S what my tax dollars should be used for!
