Dr.
McHugh, who ended the sexual reassignment surgery program at Johns
Hopkins because it was not helping the patients, answered, “Well, as I
have said, there is no gay gene. And there are factors more influential
than biology.”
“The best data, of course, [comes from the Framingham Study],” said Dr.
McHugh. “If you are a man and you grow up in a rural environment,
you
are four times less likely to have homosexual relationships than if you
grow up in a metropolitan area. That's not left-handedness.”
“If you are a lesbian, you are much more likely to be
college-educated,” he said. “That's not something that happens at
conception.”
“My point is that we now know that the environment is very important,”
said Dr. McHugh.
I'm
not convinced that this is entirely or even partially
true, but it's out there. Don't get me started on
"transgender" though. |
Of course there's no 'gay' gene. Gays do not reproduce, so a 'gay' gene would be selected out, to use the vernacular of those who understand the basics of evolution.
ReplyDeleteQ. Why are the Twin Towers and genders so similar?
ReplyDeleteA. Because there used to be two of them, but it's "offensive" to joke about that now.
Ann Hedonia & Sam Paku
Not offensive here; just funny.
ReplyDeleteGood thing he is old enough to retire.
ReplyDeleteI find it funny that after spending decades pushing pushing this fiction,
ReplyDeletesomeone finally comes along and says what every person with two functioning
brain cells knew all along! All it would have taken would require a simple
study of a gay identical twin. Since all identical twins are genetically
identical, if one was gay, the other would have to be as well. That would
also make isolating the "Gay Gene" a snap.
There was some asinine theory that gays had a smaller Hypothalamus than straight
people. This lead to Rush Limbaugh bragging than he had the largest Hypothalamus
in the world. This BS study was refuted within a few months by legitimate medical
researchers.
If even a layman can pick this shit apart, it is too easy!
Saw Ted Nugent last week with an opening act "The Raskins NYC".
ReplyDeleteThose guys were wearing gay jeans.
"My mom made me a queer!"
ReplyDelete"Great! If I buy her the yarn, will she make me one, too?"
