The
actress is known for the funny comedy
Clueless, but
she hasn’t acted in a long time. Now, she is most known for having
controversial opinions when it comes to race. She was one of the
few
stars who defended Paula Deen, the celebrity chef who admitted in court
that she had said the N-word in the past. Dash
tweeted
her support to Deen, “Only God can judge your heart BTW my daughter
loves your show (only way she can get me to cook).”
Dash also
spoke out against the existence of BET and called Jesse Williams a
“plantation slave” after he gave a powerful speech accepting the BET
Humanitarian Award. “You’ve just seen the perfect example of
a
HOLLYWOOD plantation slave!
Sorry, Mr. Williams,” she said. “But the fact that you were standing on
that stage at THOSE awards tells people you really don’t know what your
talking about. Just spewing hate and anger.”
Dash’s
comments got her a contributor spot on Fox News, but she was later
fired. Her terrible comments have definitely made Hollywood distance
itself from her, and turned her into the butt of a joke at the Oscars
in 2016.

ReplyDeleteWell allow me to retort: any list of most hated that doesn't have Jane Fonda at #1 is suspect, at best.
Sir H the Comet
I'll 2nd Anonymous's comment. Jane Fonda's grave will never dry out, nor the line of servicemen and women pissing on it every diminish.
ReplyDeleteIt sorta beats me why anyone would hate an actress- I mean, if you don't like their acting, or their looks, or the roles they play, then why bother seeing them? I don't much care for okra, though my mother loved it; but I don't hate it, I just don't eat it.
ReplyDeleteHanoi Jane I don't hate because she is an actress, but because she is a traitor that gave aid and comfort to the enemy, while spitting in POW's eyes. She still feels righteous about what she did, and I still think she should be stood against a wall and shot. Doesn't have anything to do with her acting, though.
Most of these others I don't know- though by the writeup, I may approve of them instead of hating them. Hedy Lamarr, a gorgeous beauty, had the temerity to portray having an orgasm! Well, I guess that was before "When Harry Met Sally," so it upset some people; but I'd like to see that, myself. She was "acting," right?
"I'll have what she's having!" One of our favorite movie lines.
ReplyDeleteI love Stacey Dash. She speaks from the heart.
